Is Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder foundation a good buy???

I have seen this and have recently wanted to buy it because it looks as if it would work really well. Has anyone tried it?

I have oily, acne prone skin, if that makes any difference. Is Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder foundation a good buy???
Yes, yes, yes! I actually just bought the compact and loose powder on a buy one get one free sale at CVS.

I first tried the loose powder...the ONLY thing I hated about it was the packaging. You can't really control how much powder you get on the brush. Sometimes it's too much, and other times, it's too little. I ended up breaking the packaging apart and pouring the powder into another container.

Anyway, the product itself is amazing. I thought it was great because I've had such a hard time finding my shade in foundation/powder, and this one matched nearly perfectly. Also, since it is mineral makeup, it didn't feel heavy on my face and kept me looking very natural. It helped even out my skin tone.

I ended up buying the compact also so I can take it with me on trips since loose powder can get messy at times. You should definitely try it out, and since it can be purchased at drugstores (which often have 100% money back guarantees on beauty products), you can easily return it if you don't like it.

My skin is actually not oily. I have drier skin, so I put moisturizer on before I put on powder foundation. However, once again, this is mineral makeup so it's designed not to clog up your pores and make you break out. I like the fact that Neutrogena is dermatologist approved, which makes me more comfortable using it on my skin.

I hope you give it a try...and actually, Neutrogena's website is offering $1.00 off coupons...

I tried it and liked it- however, I have read online that AVON mineral make-up is the BEST! I mean to get some as soon as my Neutrogena is gone.

One thing with mineral make-up- they all say they have sunscreen, but it either doesn't stay on or isn't enough. The best sunscreen for oily skin I've found is Oil of Olay Total Moisture complex cream in a jar- comes in sensitive skin too and DOESNT OIL UP YOUR SKIN. Creams are less greasy than lotions.
I absolutely hated it!! The brush is too rough and hurt my face, the packaging is horrible, and it looked flaky and cakey on me, not to mention it didn't cover much of anything that needed covering. You may have a different experience, but IMO, it's not worth it...at all! And I usually love Neutrogena stuff!
i'd be careful with neutrogena- lots of people i know have gotten spots from their make-up.

try the body shop stuff- they have special ranges for different types of skin. go into the store and ask an assistant and she'll reccommend the right stuff. their foundation is really good.
I have tried the concealer, and I love it! I then use Bare Minerals powder over it and it looks so beautiful and natural.
my friend used to have it and it worked really well for her.i like anything mineral so id have to say give it a try
Anything neutrogena is a great buy. But for oily acne face, try neutrogena oil free acne wash and the new Neutrogena Wave. They work WONDERS!
