Neutrogena Body Wash for severe acne?

I have really bad bacne, and I wasnt able to get a dermatologist appointment until a month from now... does it work for severe bacne? I also have acne scars, what can I use for that?Neutrogena Body Wash for severe acne?
I've been using Neutrogena Body Wash for about 3 months now and I've noticed that my back acne is about 50% better and my chest acne is practically gone. The only bad side about it is that once you stop using it all your acne comes back. Once I started using it I didnt see any results till about after a week of using it so dont get discouraged.

Good Luck:)Neutrogena Body Wash for severe acne?
i had bad acne too but i never went to a dermatologist, my regular doctor suggested that i try proactive and i did. let me tell you that it is the most amazing product out there. i have never tried neutrogena but i used proactive and by like a week i was almost acne free. it also helps heal your scars cause i had scars too. i would say to give it a chance.

good luck!
I've had acne for most of my teen years.

It's good your going to the Derm, hopefully they will give you some Roaccutane that really works and gets rid of it.

In the meantime, get some Benzyl Peroxide (BP) gel. It comes under a few brand names, the one I used was Benzac AC. This is more important that washing. For washing you are better off using Cetaphil or something with no ingredients for treating acne. For bacne, use 10%BP as the skin on your back is very thick and needs a higher concentration of active ingredient. For your face, 2.5% or 5% is okay. The more of the BP gel you lather on, the better. Don't be afraid to put on heaps. The BP gel soaks into your skin and kills all the bacteria that inflame your pores. If you gently rub a thick layer into your skin before you go to bed you will probably see a difference the next day and after a week you will notice a difference for sure. Allways wash your face/back before you apply it, just so it can soak in better.

As I said, don't be afraid to put as much on as possible. Put it on your back as if it were sunscreen on a REALLY sunny day. And this is just what to do before you see the doctor, who will give you the proper treatments.
I really like the Neutrogena wash. It worked pretty well for me. The only problem is with your skin drying out, but that can be taken care of with mosturizing.

Proactiv is the same. There's this cleanser called Exposed. It works great, and it's made from natural ingredients, non of that fake stuff. It's around $40-50 though.
LOVE IT! Works like a charm!

You should see a professional first for a consultation on various procedures, treatments and products that are available to you. Credible spas/cosmetic clinics offer consultations free of charge.

Save your money and get a credible procedure or treatment that will benefit and improve your skin. For example, microdermabrasion will probably be the way to go or do more research on. Microderm exfoliates upper skin layers, minimizing scars and wrinkles.

If your scars are as severe as you think, an over the counter cosmetic product is not what you should be looking at.

  • Neutrogena Wave:Does it really work?

People have asked this question before(including myself but I only got one response) but I just really haven't seen more answers towards yes or no, so I am curious, is it worth the money? And how much is it? Did it help or harm your skin? Thanks for the input.Neutrogena Wave:Does it really work?
It runs from about 12 to 15 dollars.

As for whether or not it helps, you'll have to try it to be sure.

Everyone has different skin types and needs, so it might work like a charm for you but be totally useless to someone else.Neutrogena Wave:Does it really work?
the wave did not work for me . It ruined my skin around my nose and between my eye brows. My skin was soo dry, it was peeling off. but maybe it just depends on the skin type. And i got mine for 20.00 dollars at shppoers Report Abuse

I got mine for 12 dollars at CVS and although it isn't PHENOMENAL, I definitely think it helps my skin. The only thing I don't like about it is the soap that's in the pads (it kind of burns- then again, I have sensitive skin). So what I do is make my own pads (all they are is little felt circles) and put my own face wash on them. I also don't like how big it is- you can't use it in that little crevice between your eye and nose. However, I really like the vibrations, and after I used it my skin felt fresh (my pores felt like they had been deep-cleaned) and very soft and smooth.

    Here's the bottom line:

    1) the replacement pads are not worth investing in- especially since you can make them yourself for a lot cheaper

    2) with everyday use, it will improve your skin (though not dramatically)

So, basically, I would say it is worth the money, and I would recommend it.

    Good luck!
I bought my pink Wave today at Target. I used it when I got home, and when I think I did something wrong because the pad didn't foam, so nothing really changed with my skin afterwards. I'm going to try it every morning though.
omg yes it work so good..

that's the only thing i use for my hair

Neutrogena stress control cream or oil free acne wash?

there both neutrogena. idk which to use!?! which better for acne and just overall?Neutrogena stress control cream or oil free acne wash?
I personally have been using the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash for about 2 to 3 months now, and it has worked really well. My face has cleared up tremendously and stays clear a lot longer.

I did have a problem with it drying out my skin because of the saccylic acid...but I also got Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer for Combination Skin, and it works wonders. It moisturizer dry areas and helps reduce oil in others.

Though this product has worked well for me, it may not work as well for you because every one is different but I would reccomend that you try it. It can't hurt.

Also remember that you may break out before you start clearing up so give at least 2 weeks to work its magic.

    I hope I helped!

Am i supposed to use Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Scrub everyday?

    reasons for answer

    thanks in advance!

:)Am i supposed to use Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Scrub everyday?
It just all depends on how sensitive your skin is. If you have pretty sensitive skin, I wouldn't use it every day. Try every other at first to see if your skin will ';tolerate'; it.Am i supposed to use Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Scrub everyday?
depends on if you have sensitive skin. if you do. then everyother day.
no. about twice a week is best.

Neutrogena stress control cream or oil free acne wash?

there both neutrogena. i need someone who has tried both so i know which works better. which works better for acne and just overall. thanks!Neutrogena stress control cream or oil free acne wash?
Did you know Neutrogena tests on animals? Before I found that out, I'd tried both. I personally don't think either are great. I have combo/dry skin with just a little breakout on my forehead occassionally. The Oil-Free Acne Wash just felt gross. I felt like it was really hard to wash off, whereas other cleansers wash right off very easily with a little water, and it dried my skin out. The Stress Control Cream Cleanser has a weird smell and is really strong. It left my face even drier. I do know other people that love Oil-Free Acne Wash though. You probably need to try both to see which is better for you.

You could always try St. Ives. It's much more natural, doesn't test on animals, and works wonders for everyone I've talked to. Neutrogena stress control cream or oil free acne wash?
Don't use the Oil Free Acne Wash. Depending on ur skin type, you wont want to use it because if you then go outside and play or play sports it leaves a red rash on your face. personal experience so dont try. and i am a girl.

Has anyone here used Neutrogena Body Wash for acne on chest and back? How did it work for you?

    Aha you got me! LOL

I will look it up and see what I can find though.

This is from WebMD also it does recommend Neutrogena:

    Mild acne

Treatment for mild acne (whiteheads, blackheads or pimples) may include:

Gentle cleansing with a mild soap (such as Dove or Neutrogena).

Applying benzoyl peroxide (such as Benoxyl, Benzac, or Clearasil).

Applying salicylic acid (such as Clearasil, Propa pH, or Stri-Dex).

If these treatments do not work, your doctor may prescribe topical lotions containing antibiotics or other kinds of bacteria-killing medication.Has anyone here used Neutrogena Body Wash for acne on chest and back? How did it work for you?
Yes, it works and i love it, but really all it is is salactic acid, and you can buy a creme with salactic acid and put it on your body and it will work just the same......

Has anyone used the Neutrogena acne kit?

after u run out of that supply of acne kit, what happens to ur skin?Has anyone used the Neutrogena acne kit?
Your skin starts to go back to the way it was, so if you stop using it, you will get acne again. It's the same with with ALL facewashes/acne kits (at least, the ones that I have tried) And I have tried the Neutrogena.

The best thing to do for acne that won't go away (like mine... I tried almost everything) is to visit a dermatologist. They may prescribe antibiotics (because bacteria often contribute to acne). They may also prescribe a product containing ';benzoyl peroxide.'; I have very sensitive skin, and the benzoyl peroxide tended to burn my face and make it red, so if you have sensitive skin, be careful!

The LAST thing I used (and it is the only thing that worked for me in my 3+ years of searching) is a product called ';acutane.'; It is VERY harmful to the body if taken improperly, and you must have bloodwork done regularly (while you are taking it). The great news is that you only have to take this product for 6 months! =D And after that... No more acne. EVER.

Well, if you do somehow get acne again a few years later, they give a card, so you can get more. But this drug is highly monitored due to its potency...

Just ask a dermatologist and let them recommend you something. It's really the best thing to do.

Good luck with acne! Hope this helps =P

  • Has anyone tried the 3 step acne system iQ Derma? Does it work? What about SkinId by Neutrogena? Effective?

Skin Id by Neutrogena. The one personalized for you.Has anyone tried the 3 step acne system iQ Derma? Does it work? What about SkinId by Neutrogena? Effective?
Dont ever use anything for acne, becuz it actually drys out your skin causing more zits, so stick to something easy like garnier normal or combination skin, its really good and clears skin without drying it out! and neutrogena isnt that god...:( sorry i know i tried it, it was HORRIBLE!!Has anyone tried the 3 step acne system iQ Derma? Does it work? What about SkinId by Neutrogena? Effective?
I've tried about 2094 3-step acne removing systems and the best one ive come across is Clinique's 3 step solution. They have 4 different sets. Dry, Mild, Oily, Super Oily - each set is roughly 50$ however it has 2x's the amount as proactiv and there arent any creams to use over night such as the super drying benzoyl peroxide. It includes face wash, exfoliator/toner (which is the best stuff ive ever used!!), and moisturizer. I recommend it, I've had acne for about 10 years and this stuff finally got rid of it.
I haven't tried IQ Derma, but I have tried Skin ID. I've used it for a about a month, and I've seen dramatic results, so I recommend that one. All you have to do is go onto their website: skinid.com and take the skin individuality test. It will recommend you some awesome products! :) Hope I helped!

lol I just got this today and used it when I got home

    1. I left it in for 5 min and it already feels softer at the ends and my hair was horribly damaged. I've only used it once, so so far I give it a 6 or 7-sh (if 10=best and 1=worst)

    2. It after one use has made it softer and it looks better and not as dry (I'm not sure really the percentage)

    3. No buildup :)

    4. so far some of the damaged ends look a lot better. I give it a 7. even tho it will work better after 1 use

    5. Yes there is a visible difference. A lot of my hair was split inches up the hair shaft, and now I have yet to find those horrible ones

    6. yes I do recommend this product. But I haven't used any other brand of deep conditioner, and I don't think I will. I luv Neutrogena products they seem to work well.Whats your opinion on Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask?

I have tried it and it wasn't one of my favorite products, i didn't even finish using the bottle...I think it is still in my bathroom drawer. Anyways I think it is just not exfoliating enough for me, it didn't make my face feel clean.

Anyways my favorite thing to cleanse with is St. Ives apricot scrub it is amazing! I don't know what it does but I started breaking out less and when I did breakout the spots were smaller. It also gives your skin a nice glow.
yes i have tried it and it worked. I mostly have acne on my t-zone and it clearned most of it up. you really have to do it every moring and night but i do truly like it. it works better then the one i tried before it. And it has controled to nicely! :)

Neutrogena acne control and Rapid clear have no effect.?
If you鈥檙e looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Male semen is great for clearing up acne.. go to any bar and you'll get a week's worth
Do you rest your chin on your hand when you're bored at school?

That might be causing some irritation because you're squeezing pores together.

Also, try a non-medicated, all natural type of facewash that has witch hazel, likely you're breaking out because of oil too.
I have the same problem I use straight rubbing alcohol it burns but help dry it out....
this may sound silly but try toothpaste on it before you go to bed...just dot some on and leave it til morning this helps to dry it out faster

How to Get Rid of Acne in 5 Easy Steps

    S

Struggling with acne? Many drug companies would like you to believe that using expensive prescription creams or cleansers will rid you of acne. Worse still, commonly prescribed drugs like Accutane can cause dementia, depression and many other serious side effects. A growing body of research into the root causes of acne suggests that the causes of acne begin on the inside long before pimples appear on your skin.

Research suggests that the root causes of acne are nutritional deficiencies, hormones imbalances, and stress. This suggests that nutritional supplements known to counteract these causes can stop acne in its tracks.

In these five steps, you'll learn how to overcome acne the natural way.

There is currently only one targeted nutritional supplement on the market that fights all of the root causes of acne. Frutels, a gummy vitamin for acne, provides the full spectrum of B vitamins, known to fight hormone imbalances and stress, zinc for improved skin cell repair, vitamin C for its anti-oxidant powers, vitamin E for collagen and cell repair, and several other key ingredients. B-12, E, Zinc and C all fight inflammation.

An increasing body of research indicates that consuming a targeted regimen of vitamins and minerals can actually counteract the root causes of acne. B vitamins are depleted in sugar metabolization, so Americans' sugar/carb heavy diets tend toward deficiency in these and other key vitamins.

Harsh Cleansers with Salycilic Acid or Hydrogen Peroxide are sometimes used to treat acne. These inflame the skin and dry out sebaceous glands. There is no scientific study showing that dirt, grime, and bacteria cause acne.

As long as you are using a mild soap or cleanser to clean your face, you are removing all of the elements that can clog pores. Using a clean washcloth when you wash your face provides gentle exfoliation of dead skin.

Increasing your consumption of water will improve the ability of your body to hydrate skin. In a recent study, German researchers observed increased skin hydration and decreased fluid retention in the skin of individuals who consumed about nine 8 oz. glasses of water per day for a week.

Excessive amounts of sugars in alcoholic drinks deplete the vitamins and minerals that your body needs to fight acne. Taking 2-4 Frutels a day should counteract the effects of moderate alcohol consumption, but binge drinking could reduce Frutels effectiveness.

Avoid products with high fructose corn syrup. HFC can be found in nearly all processed foods in a grocery aisle. Food that appears healthy like yogurt, tea, etc often contains a high HFC content. Soft drinks are notorious for their HFC content. Avoid sweetened processed foods, and sweeten your own food or beverages with honey or sugar; you will add far less simple sugars than the industrializes.
dont trust all what's been said on tv.

What works better? Neutrogena, St. Ives, or Proactiv?

i like most netruogena skincare products. they work well on me. i have the oil-free acne cream cleanser, oil-free spf moisturizer, toner, scrub, and acne spot treatment.

i heard proactive doesnt work that well and st. ives is okay. i have sued ti before
    st. ives!

i havent used proactiv b4, but lots of ppl say it works...i was planning on getting it, but im having doubts..
Out of those, Neutrogena works best, while not drying out your face.

But if you want to use proactiv, then get a good moisturizer to use, so it doesn't dry out your face. =)

I like neutrogena, but not the stress control stuff. Try the Clear Pore mask/cleanser and Oil-Free Acne Wash.

St. Ives is also really good and i love the apricot scrub!

    Never tried proactiv.

Also the neutrogena On-the-Spot acne treatment works reallly well on pimples and zits.
First I would try Proactive and if that doesn't work try Neutrogena.
Proactive most definitely works better. There aree three cycles of acne , not just one, so at certain times your skin will definitely tend to reak out more. But go with the flow and STICK WITH PROACTIVE! neutrogina has scented ingredients ni it whci will triggerr acnee from the harmone secretion glands WITHIN your pores and actually worsen acne! therefore, girl, STICK WTHI PROACTIVE. there are great ingredients within it that soothe the skin and doo honestlyy clear iup acne. be patient and dontt mix products ever! doing that will make your face a complete MESS!! kk goodluck lovelyy%26lt;333333333333
ProActiv is the only thing that will work long term. You may need to see a dermatologist and get a prescription medication for your skin, like differin. Seeing a skin doctor will let you find out what is causing your skin problems, and what you can do to minimize problem zits and get clear skin.
proactiv i would say works pretty well but my dermatologist swears by neutrogena and i do too. it works sooo well but u have to consistently use it, it isnt like u use it once and you will have magical perfect skin like some people think you can do.

Does the Neutrogena Acne skincare products give clear and acne-free skin?

Yes, it certainly does. You need to use it continously though to get best results, i use it at the moment. After 2 weeks of first using it, my skin was spot free and it reduced redness! But you have to use it daily (if it says for daily use on the container) to get healthier, acne - free looking skin! So yes its possible to achieve spot free skin with Neutrogena Acne skincare products.

    Hope it helped.

The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple.

For acne scars and blemishes the best is papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too. Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'Does the Neutrogena Acne skincare products give clear and acne-free skin?
Ya it was amazing for 3 days. Then it stopped working, so i exchanged it for another one. A week later, it broke again. I tried one more time, and it still broke! I'm not even bothering to return it now. But don't try proactive either. My friend ordered it from TV, just for fun (she didn't really have any acne) then when she started using it, it gave her acne!
i use it, and it helps get rid of some acne at first but then it slows down and you gradually get clearer skin. You havee to be really patient with it. But i thinkk it workks :)

    hope i helppeed :) xx
IT DIDNT HELP ME AT ALL. not one bit. made it worse actually. but it also depends on the skin, so maybe it will be fine for you. i dont know. but it didnt help me or my sister.
no products give u acne free skin! but for me it didnt help i have oily skin :( and it made it worse but u know try it out for yourself the results might amaze you!!
    Neutrogena definitely works!

Smells have nothing to do with quality, just because it smells great doesn't mean it is good for your skin. From personal experience I have used Clean %26amp; Clear SOFT line which is amazing expecially the tube that says STEAM, its a exfoliant that works with the steam in your shower and gives spa facial quality results and of course the moisturizer is lightweight and oil free which is super important. Here is the link, check it out!

Anyone Tried Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer?

Tinted Moisturizer with Spf 20,and its oil free.the 3 in 1.Anyone Tried Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer?
Yes, I have been using it for over a yr and I love it. I hate the cakey feel of regular foundations, but still need a bit of coverage to even out my skin tone. If I have a bit of redness or a tiny zit, I just dab some concealer. If you have more blotchy or acne prone skin it might not be enough coverage for you.

I like the healthy skin enhancer because it has retinol, but the glow sheers also work really well, and give face a natural luminosity.

Does neutrogena's rapid spot acne treatment work?

I don't think it does. They used to have an acne drying gel and that worked great. The spot treatment didn't do a thing for me.

  • I am here foreigner and I am really confused with that Olay and neutrogena staff. Which one is better and why?

Depends! Olay is traditionally known for their moisturizers and anti-aging products. So if you have dry skin, or are worried about your skin aging, I'd go for Olay products.

Neutrogena is better known for their soaps and cleansers. So for oily, acne-prone skin, Neutrogena is better.

These are just generalizations of course, Neutrogena no doubt has some great moisturizers, and Olay has good cleansers, but it's just kind of a brief overview of the strengths of the brands.I am here foreigner and I am really confused with that Olay and neutrogena staff. Are Neutrogena Glow Sheers too sparkly?

I've been considering buying this makeup. I like that it has sunscreen, light coverage, and seems to be pretty good for your skin. But it's the ';glow'; part that has me hesitating. Will this stuff make my skin shiny? I realize it isn't supposed to be matte, but I hope it isn't glittery, either.

Those of you that have tried it, what's your opinion of it?Are Neutrogena Glow Sheers too sparkly?
No it wont be glittery... I think the ';glow'; is a slight self tanner in it.. or maybe a powder-fine shimmer...or both.

By shimmer, I mean a powder that is shimmery, but not like glitter pieces.

I have the summer glow facial lotion, it has a slight slight gradual self tanner, says it creates a ';glow.'Are Neutrogena Glow Sheers too sparkly?

What do you guys think of Neutrogena's Skin Clearing Oil-Free compact foundation?

I am thinking of buying but, but i'm not sure how it will work.

Well, i have some blemishes so how well does it cover and stay on? My skin also gets very oily after a few hours of use.. im not sure if its my skin or if the make up is melting off. I've used all kinds of makeup, from liquids to powders, mineral makeup, and the dream matte mousse

but none of it cured my problem.

Do you guys have any suggestions? What do you guys think of Neutrogena's Skin Clearing Oil-Free compact foundation?
The only foundation that I have found to work with my extremely oily skin is Mary Kay. It goes on light and smoothly and doesnt feel like I any on. I was really suprised when I tried it how good it felt. If you would like to e-mail me, I can put you in touch with my consultant. What do you guys think of Neutrogena's Skin Clearing Oil-Free compact foundation?
I think u just have to keep trying new things kuz eerybody's skin is different.
I used Neutogena's Skin Clearing Oil Free Compact foundation it did give me good coverage but It dried my skin out after the second use.

My skin was so dry it started to peel.

If you do try a different foundation just make sure it is oil free but if it has pimple medication in it, like this one does, it could dry out your skin.

I use Mac foundation now and it stays on and gives me great coverage keeps my skin feeling good and I don't break out with it.

    But everyones skin is different.
Check out Mary Kay's line of skin care. They Carry a wonderful line of products for ALL skin types. I myself also have oily skin and have seen a great change since the use of MK. Please check it out for yourself.

I use the Ultimate Miracle set:

    3 in 1 facial wash,

    even complexion essence,

    daytime sunscreen

time wise moisturizer (for combination to oily skin)

    a blemish toner,

    mattifier,

    oil control lotion

The wonderful thing about MK is that all the products are designed to work together, so there is no fear of '; what if one cancels out another?'; just great results! We want to take care of your oil and acne problem not cover it up sweetie.

    Good Luck!
I tried it...and it doesn't work! It made me break out more. Try anything else but it.

I would recommened the Nuetragena Microdermabrasion. This helps make the skin more even and those skin colored bumps are less noticable. It also exposes the under layers of the skin and maked it easier to get ride of pimples.
I love it. I have combination skin, so stay away from benzole peroxide if you don't want to get too dry. Also use a moisturizer always, or you will break out from the dryness.

I can't afford proactive, but my sister loves it and she always had problems with her skin until she started using it.

More water--better skin. No soda, or sweets. Wash your hands often, so you don't mess up your pores when you touch your face.
It relly depence on how sensitive your skin is.I use to use proactive it was too strong for my skin i had to stop and when you stop using proactive the pimples strt comming back so you got to keep on using it, But right now i am using Neutrogenaand its pretty good too and the acne wash is oil-free but the lotion is not. It's good you can try it and see how it works for you
I use neutrogena dep clean cleanser/mask. it works great! i hardly ever get pimples but my skin gets a bit dry so use moisturiser and its ok:)
I just went to the doctor yesterday and asked the same question. Her reply: STOP DRINKING SODA! I've used pills, medical creams and ointments, over the counter crap, etc. and of course, nothing has worked for me. I was even thinking of trying ProActive Solution you see on TV, and I tried a whole Neutrogena kit that states on the package that it works better than proactive, but it sure in the hell didn't work for me. But everybody's skin is different. All you can do is try it. But anyways, the doc said if I lay off the soda completely, my skin will start to improve. I used to have acne extremely bad but now it went down a lot. My only problem area is around my mouth. One other thing I do to keep my skin dry (I have oily skin): I go tanning a few times a week. This dries out my pores and has cleared up about 95% of my skin. And the benefit...you look great! The only bad thing is it greatly increases chances of skin cancer, and it's a pretty expensive treatment for acne. It's a win or loose situation, I guess. But that's what works the best for me so far. Now I will try to lay off the soda and see how much that helps. Hope this was some what useful. Good Luck!
go to the doctor and ask about prascion fc facial cleaning clothes and tazorac cream. i use it and it works GREAT!!!! plus, on one of the morning shows, these were the best products to use.
Everyone has different skin. so what one person tells you works for them, might not work for you because you have different skin. i used to use neutrogena and it didnt do anything at all. but im not saying it doesnt work well. i guess you kinda just gotta try different stuff see which one works for you. use a product for about 2 months to see if they have any effect. or you can just go to a dermatalogist (sp?) hope that helps!!

p.s proactive worked awesome with me
I use the foaming face wash, in the blue bottle, and I love. I also use the microdermabrasion kit and i love it. My face looks smooth and clean. But you definitely should find one that works for you. I had a few friends try proactive and they absolutely love it. Hope this helps! :)
I love Neutogena! I use it all the time! It works so good! Like Neutogena Blackhead Elimination Treatment Mask, and advanced solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel. Good Luck!
I love Neutrogena products!!! I have all of it . t works better than proactive. Try Neutrogena advance solutions kit,and to shrink a pimple use the 8 hour treatment it usually works..
If they are skin coloured pimples then this means that they are milia and not pimples, pimples are pussey.

I always recommend everyone to use a creamy/milky cleanser, not a foaming one as this dries out the skin. Use a milky cleanser and then use a lotion( non alcoholic toner) and then apply a day cream. Most brands are fine- as long as they are non-commedogenic.

Try Sothy's Normalizing line or Payot 2 in 1 Cleanser and Lotion.

If you do choose to use a foaming cleanser then do not use a lotion or toner- just apply a day cream after you remove your cleanser..

And To help with the milia, use a non abbrasive exfoliant twice a week and a mud mask once a week.

  • Neutrogena acne kit or clindamycin phosphate solution?

i have some acne on my forehead, under my nose, and on my chin (15 female). does neutrogena acne kit work? does clindamycin phosphate topical solution work? thanksNeutrogena acne kit or clindamycin phosphate solution?
What your situation depends on is the type of acne you have-is it normal acne, cystic or a bacterial? Seeing your doctor for either a diagnosis or a referral to a dermatologist is the best way to go.

For normal, non cystic, non bacterial (and here I mean your skin is producing an overload of bacteria and the cycle of acne cannot be broken) an over the counter kit will work.

I recommend due to your age you try the kit before going the antibiotic route. Remember that with antibiotic creams like the clindamycin there can be side effects-and you have to monitor your sun exposure.

Birth control pills such as Yaz can help too-however you are only 15, and before even considering that I recommend talking to your mom and doctor.

Keep your face clean, wash 2-3 times a day and try to keep from picking at it-easier said that done I know.

The good news-it will most likely sort itself out by the time you are a little older. Best of luck!Neutrogena acne kit or clindamycin phosphate solution?
Neutrogena is way too pricy and does not work. Speaking from personal experience. Clindamycin Phosphate topical solution??? You'll want to be careful with antibiotics cause they can cause more acne to form over time.

I recommend something less harsh and feels good on ur skin. Try MaryKay products they are excellent.

clindamycin never worked for me so i guess i'd say neutrogena since their oil free acne wash wasn't too bad for me. :]

i have a few pimples here and there evry now and then and my skin is a little bit oilish in the mroning and night-so is the wave good for me?Does the wave work good? what are your results after using neutrogena wave?
I really like The Neutrogena Wave. It makes your skin really soft after you use it. The soap smells really good. Plus, if you get the coupon on: https://www.neutrogena.com/wave/coupon.asp

    you'll save like $3, so it's only $10 then.

It takes off make-up and foundation really well. and it gets rid of small pimples really easily.

Example: Last night I had a little pimple on my face and I wanted it off for today. I used the wave on my face and then patted my face dry with a towel. When i woke up, NO PIMPLE!

I love it and use it every night.

    Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Gloss question?

Hey. I want to try the Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Gloss. I have a question for anyone who uses it. How much do you have to re-apply it, and would you suggest it? Also, does it come in a light pink or possibly a clear colour?Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Gloss question?
im not sure of colors. mine's in a redish color.

you do have to apply it as much as any other lip gloss. if your lip gloss tends to come off easily, try putting on a lip primer first.

i re apply it every 90 minutes. (cause thats how long my high school classes are... i put it on my lips before passing period. even if i dont need to.)

    i would def. recommend it

just want to know the retail outlet of neutrogena products available in india - bangaloreWhere can i find neutrogena products in bangalore - india looking for neutrogena sp 55 for sun burns?
I can't remember when I've last seen Neutrogena products in Bangalore. However, give the Health %26amp; Glow pharmacies a try. Also check out shops that sell a lot of imported stuff. There's a ';Dollar'; shop (at least I t hink that's its name) on Commercial Street. You could also check out Arihant Plaza (opp Comm St entrance, at basement level) or a rather scary looking dark corridor like place called Singapore Plaza which is somewhere close to Westside and jansons, also on Comm St, where you get lots of ';dubai-kaa-maal'; type things!

If you are looking for sun BLOCK .. and you can't find your Neutrogena .. I can recommend Shahnaz Husain's Herbal Sun Protective Cream, its spf 40 and costs Rs. 170 for a nice big tube. I just started using it as I've become allergic to the sun :o(

It's good and I'm having no problems with it. There's also something called Spectra (or maybe it was Spectro) Ban that's a sun block with high spf but can't remember the exact number. The price was Rs 180 I think.

These are all available at Big Bazaar, I saw them there the other day in the pharmacy section in the shop that's on Double Rd. They also have Vichy products.

    Good luck! Hope this helps.

I want to know if neutrogena orange soap bar or liquid actually works?

Hi, I use to use Neutragena and liked until I found a better product a couple of months ago. I started using Arbonne and my face cleared up after the it pulled all the impurites out and my skin is really soft, not dry anymore. You can find it at www.wonderful.myarbonne.com It takes a very little bit to use. It really is great stuff.I want to know if neutrogena orange soap bar or liquid actually works?
actually soaps or any liquid forms just clean your face but it doesn't really ';heal'; (for example acne) permanently. i have tried neutrogena soap and it helps clean my face and prevent pimples though if you stress yourself out then acnes will reveal.

sorry, but i haven't tried the liquid, but i guess it is perfectly much the same-- a cleansing agent.

hope it helps...:)I want to know if neutrogena orange soap bar or liquid actually works?
I have tried the translucent orange soap bar and liquid - it is very good for normal skin in cleansing etc but had to stop because of my dry skin condition (no fault of Neutrogena). I was however disappointed with their facial cleanser (tube).
You know what? That's a good question. I've been using it for years, but I always use something else along with it. For acne. And I honestly believe it DOES NOT work. But I keep using it. Why? I like the smell. That simple. It smells so ';Sterile';. LOL.

I thinking about the wave but after hearing about having to buy new pads after every use i can not dicide to buy it or not

i want to know how much money you have spent on pads and the wave all togather and how long you have been using it for

Should i just get the oil-free acne wash foam??????????NEUTROGENA WAVE!!!!!!!! i would like to no how much u have spent in total for all the pads and the wave?
    My review:

I read some really great reviews on this product so I thought I would give it a try, but I'm not a big fan. I paid around $13 for my wave which came with 14 foaming pads. Well first of all those pads were not too foamy and I felt like I couldnt really tell if my face was really being cleaned or not. After I used this my face felt all squeaky clean and tight which I hate because it basically tells you that all your natural oils have been stripped from your face. This also dried my face out and I have normal to oily skin so I was surprised to see it all dried out. I read that some people squeased the soap out of the pads that came with it and added their own favorite wash and loved it, but I need something quick and easy and that just made the product more difficult to use, plus I would be buying my face wash and the additional pads. The refill pads come with 30 pads, which will last you a month or 2 depending on how often you use them, and they cost around $10. I love the idea of this product, but sadly I didn't love the product. The wave was a disappointment.

    My advice:

You either love or hate this product and there is only one way to find out. This product could be great for your skin or you could see no difference so you wont know unless you try. My advice is try to find a good deal or one on sale and see if you like it or not, but dont get your hopes up because it's no miracle worker. So if you have around 12 bucks to waste, then you should try it, who knows maybe you'll love it! It's definetly worth trying to find out.

If you want to read more reviews go here: http://makeupalley.com/product/showrevie鈥?/a>NEUTROGENA WAVE!!!!!!!! i would like to no how much u have spent in total for all the pads and the wave?

and 10 bucks on the pad refills

when u first get the wave u get 14 pads and the refills is 30 so it lasts for a long time

GET IT it is worth it
I'm not sure on the exact price but it's all pretty cheap. I hate the wave though. It doesn't foam up like it shows on tv.
i spent like $12.00 for the wave and like 20 pads

they last a while so its not really expensive

    i love it

I use the Neutrogena Deep Clean cleanser and have been using it for about 4-5 months now. When I first got it I loved it and I saw a great improvement in my skin. I had a few discoloration spots and some pimples and they cleared up. But now for some reason it doesn't seem to be doing that great of a job, I don't know if my skin got immune to it or what. I broke out big time last week on my forehead but I've also been really stressed lately and not getting enough sleep so maybe that has something to do with it. Everyone has different skin though, but since the Clean %26amp; Clear isn't working for you, I suggest you at least try Neutrogena so you can see for yourself how it works.

Good Luck:))Neutrogena deep clean or clean and clear morning burst facial cleanser? Please read details!?

The mac brushes and bare essentials one's make me break out ... Not like this matters.. Lol.. But i clean them as well and nothing seems to work.. so

    Neutrogena Microdermabrasion at home kit?

    Im 15

And i think i'd like to use that

I've been thinking long and hard about it

But i need some advise from anybody who's done it before

    What happends?

    How do you do it?

Could anything bad happen to my skin?

I'd really rather not go to a salon to get it done, i just wanna do it at home so i need some advise from people who have done it before.

Thanks :)Neutrogena Microdermabrasion at home kit?
If your 15, what makes you think you need this product?

This is mainly for people that need to diminishe the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage.

At your age I don't see how you would need that, but I would talk with your dermatologist, doctor or mom first.

However it does work. If you just have acne issues this is not what it is for, you don't want to get the product in open sores on the face, it will hurt and burn.

If you need something for acne I would suggest proactiv.

    good luck

ok, I saw your addtion to your question.......if you need to even your complextion i would try some of the other products first, like the creams that they make just for that purpose. You will find they are cheaper and work great for that purpose. The micro kit is really not for this, but will help some.Neutrogena Microdermabrasion at home kit?
    ok, In my opinion, but i was reading the web site for this product and found this phrase;

    ';revitalize your complexion ';

the difination of revitalize; To impart new life or vigor

I don't think that anything bad will happen.
I honestly think that at your young age you don't need it. Microdermabrasion is more to rid your face of fine lines that occur with age. I got a kit and to tell you the truth I can get just the same amount of dermabrasion from the face cleanser with micro beads that Neutrogena makes.

Don't waste your money on the kit, it doesn't work very well.

Which system is better, neutrogena or clearasil?

and which chemical is better, benzoyle peroxide or salycic acid?? I have really oily skin a lot of the time and medium acne and some acne marks. Don't say try proactiv because i have and it didnt work for me.Which system is better, neutrogena or clearasil?
not sure about the chemicals, but a combo has been working good for me. Have been using Clean and Clear by neutrogena i belive, moisturizer after shower. then at night some of the normal clearasil cream. since i've been doing that haven't had hardly any problems.Which system is better, neutrogena or clearasil?
Both are highly detrimental to your skin, and your health. Try a more natural raw diet, lots of fruits and vegetables. Get some sunlight on your skin, laugh a lot, have fun. If you have some scarring you could apply 100% pure rose hip oil. It is expensive, but your skin is worth it. I do not recomment putting any chemicals on your sensitve skin. Chemicals belong in the toxic waste dump!
i have always used neutogena deep clean. it works the best. i tried switching brands, but all i got was 2 pimples that took a week to go away. hope this helps.
benzoil peroxide tends to work better for younger skin while salicylic acid tends to be better for aging skin.

Have you ever used neutrogena clear body wash?

how did it work?Have you ever used neutrogena clear body wash?
Everyday...I love it! It works soooo good...I live by it. lol! I highly recommend it!

    ciao for now,

    Yes. It worked ok.

Any buddy used Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At-Home Microdermabrasion System ?I am 33 and my skin is dry.?

Hi I want to know about miroderma system at home.any side effect of this,my skin is very dull after my baby.is this usefull ,please ansewer.any good home facial product that reasneabe too....Any buddy used Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At-Home Microdermabrasion System ?I am 33 and my skin is dry.?
I have used it and it is effective. It should help get rid of some of the dullness you are experiencing, however it doesn't do the same thing that you would get if you went to a dermatologist for microdermabrasion. You may also want to try a facial moisturizer with salicylic acid in it to help get rid of some of the dullness.Any buddy used Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At-Home Microdermabrasion System ?I am 33 and my skin is dry.?
I have used it for two months last year and it worked very well on my age spots, enlarged pores and dull skin, but did nothing against my acne scars and fine lines around the mouth. I think it all depends on how your skin reacts to the product.

POnds also has a very good microderma product and it costs around $12.

    Hope this helps.

Ok to use Neutrogena T/Sal shampoo on a daily basis?

I plan on using this for my itchy scalp. Is it okay to use everyday (even after my problem hopefully goes away)? The active ingredient is 3% salicylic acid.

Thanks.Ok to use Neutrogena T/Sal shampoo on a daily basis?
i would say no. salicylic acid is VERY drying. use Neutrogena T/Gel for itchiness and dandruff and use as directed.

What is a good product to use to make my skin clear and smoother? Proactive? Neutrogena?

try out both to see witch one works the best for you. i used proactive it worked a little bit, but for me neutrogena is the best choice for me.What is a good product to use to make my skin clear and smoother? Proactive? Neutrogena?
proactiv sucks i swear....sorry anyway neurtrogena is AWESOME. i use it and as soon as i ran out after like a day i started getting pimples and stuff and then i got more and i used it again and they cleared within like 2-3 days! its amazing and clean%26amp;clear doesn't work. i know a lot of poeple that use it and it doesn't work. sorry but neutrogena is the best way to go :):):):):)What is a good product to use to make my skin clear and smoother? Proactive? Neutrogena?
When I used Proactive, I found that it made my skin dry. Also, you have to use it most likely for the rest of your life because once my Aunt stopped using it, she started breaking out even more. Try Clean and Clear :)
I used Proactiv, and all it did was dry out my skin. I started using this product called AcneFree, and it works BETTER than Proactiv. I also recommend Murad or Dr. Brandt, both are available at sephora.
I use pro-active every day, and it really works great! But you have to commit to using it atleast once a day, don't expect results otherwise. I keep my lotion on my bedside table so I never forget to use it!
A combination of Cetaphil and Retin-A worked great on my face.
Urinate a little on a rag and use that to cleanse your pores. It is the best thing.
proatcitve works for a little bit, but then it stops. i use neutrogena... it just depends on your skin...
    Clean and Clear
i tried several things and ';acne free severe'; worked best i use it twice a day

Does anyone use the make-up from Neutrogena?

The mascara, blush/bronzer, eyeliner, lip gloss, etc?

Just wondering if anyone uses this line of cosmetics and if it's quality or if I should continue using a different line of make-up. I saw it advertised in a magazine and it looks like it's really pretty, but I want opinions from people who have actually used it =]Does anyone use the make-up from Neutrogena?
I love their Healthy Skins Sunkissed bronzer. I've used it for years and it's so natural but you get nice color from it. Feels great on the skin. Definite must have in my makeup bag!Does anyone use the make-up from Neutrogena?
I use their mineral powder foundation and blush. Both come in sticks, so they are easy to transport and carry around for touch ups. I have been extremely happy with them, as they are light, and still allow my skin to breathe.

I used to use their foundation, but it is too heavy for the summer and I liked the freedom of the mineral powders. They are slightly sheer, so I never have the line of demarkation from where I put the foundation and where I did not.
Anything I've ever used by Neutrogena has been awesome, them and Almay are my favourite makeup brands that you can get from a drug store. Their eyemakeup remover is also great, I've been using it for years. And their face wash too! I'd say you're pretty safe buying anything from them as they tend to have good quality products.
well i've used none of the above, but i've used their lipstickss! omg there lipstickss are just amazing:) they have so many beautiful colors and it's really easy to find the right one for your skin tone, also the one that i have creates more of a natural lip stain. i loooove their lipstickss.

    hope i helpedd:)
I use their mineral glow sheers powder foundation over the tinted moisturizer I use and it works great! I wouldn't recommend it on it's own though unless you have very clear skin. Also I use their moistureshine lip sheers and I love them!!!
There bronzer works great. I love it. I look so pretty. :)
    No I don't , sorry I can't help you.

    Does Neutrogena Advanced Solution Work?

Is it ok for a younger girl (13-15) to use? Or is it just for adults? If you have used it has it worked? How much is it and where can you find it?

Thank you. And sorry for all the questions!Does Neutrogena Advanced Solution Work?
Ive never used this particular product, but Ive always had excellent luck with neutrogena. Good luck!

Is Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder foundation a good buy???

I have seen this and have recently wanted to buy it because it looks as if it would work really well. Has anyone tried it?

I have oily, acne prone skin, if that makes any difference. Is Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder foundation a good buy???
Yes, yes, yes! I actually just bought the compact and loose powder on a buy one get one free sale at CVS.

I first tried the loose powder...the ONLY thing I hated about it was the packaging. You can't really control how much powder you get on the brush. Sometimes it's too much, and other times, it's too little. I ended up breaking the packaging apart and pouring the powder into another container.

Anyway, the product itself is amazing. I thought it was great because I've had such a hard time finding my shade in foundation/powder, and this one matched nearly perfectly. Also, since it is mineral makeup, it didn't feel heavy on my face and kept me looking very natural. It helped even out my skin tone.

I ended up buying the compact also so I can take it with me on trips since loose powder can get messy at times. You should definitely try it out, and since it can be purchased at drugstores (which often have 100% money back guarantees on beauty products), you can easily return it if you don't like it.

My skin is actually not oily. I have drier skin, so I put moisturizer on before I put on powder foundation. However, once again, this is mineral makeup so it's designed not to clog up your pores and make you break out. I like the fact that Neutrogena is dermatologist approved, which makes me more comfortable using it on my skin.

I hope you give it a try...and actually, Neutrogena's website is offering $1.00 off coupons...

http://www.neutrogena.com/cosmetics.asp?mainVal=cosmetic%26amp;subVal=cosmeticIs Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder foundation a good buy???
I tried it and liked it- however, I have read online that AVON mineral make-up is the BEST! I mean to get some as soon as my Neutrogena is gone.

One thing with mineral make-up- they all say they have sunscreen, but it either doesn't stay on or isn't enough. The best sunscreen for oily skin I've found is Oil of Olay Total Moisture complex cream in a jar- comes in sensitive skin too and DOESNT OIL UP YOUR SKIN. Creams are less greasy than lotions.
I absolutely hated it!! The brush is too rough and hurt my face, the packaging is horrible, and it looked flaky and cakey on me, not to mention it didn't cover much of anything that needed covering. You may have a different experience, but IMO, it's not worth it...at all! And I usually love Neutrogena stuff!
i'd be careful with neutrogena- lots of people i know have gotten spots from their make-up.

try the body shop stuff- they have special ranges for different types of skin. go into the store and ask an assistant and she'll reccommend the right stuff. their foundation is really good.
I have tried the concealer, and I love it! I then use Bare Minerals powder over it and it looks so beautiful and natural.
my friend used to have it and it worked really well for her.i like anything mineral so id have to say give it a try
Anything neutrogena is a great buy. But for oily acne face, try neutrogena oil free acne wash and the new Neutrogena Wave. They work WONDERS!

Does Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash work?

I've used proactive, which didn't work as quickly. I've also used Clean %26amp; Clear Advantage, which worked, but was too much moneey!! help!Does Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash work?
I just bought that actually and so far i like it a lot! But I cant say if it really WORKS but i feel like it is o.oDoes Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash work?
I thought it sucked it made my acne worse, I wouldn't use clerasil brand either. I have sensitive skin mixed in with my acne I reccomend the Zapzyt brand or the acne free system. They're fairly inexpensive and work well
it works differently on everybody. i like the target brand better for some reason. do any of ur friend own it? ask if i could try it next time ur at their house.

im wondering if it actually works. i took the online test, but im skeptical about trying it.Has anyone tried skin ID by neutrogena?
    yeah.

it's a good idea, but how in the hell do they decide you need a foam cleanser vs. gel cleanser?

    i used it..it was okay.

the formulation of the products balled up together and the cleanser used benzoyl peroxide - so no matter how many times i rinsed my face, whatever towel i used to pat dry was bleached.

    40% of my acne cleared.

the directions of how to use the products, could also be modified to work better.

    BIG, BIG waste of money.

    products were very little.

they also shipped every 3 months (i had to set it to that, otherwise it sent once a month which is WAY too often), and i always had product left when i recieved a new shipment.

when i tried to cancel my re-shipment in order to quit the program, they billed us 40 dollars 3 months later withOUT the 3 products.

neutrogena claimed it was apart of the agreement.

    overall, 2 stars..

    Neutrogena pore refining toner?

I just bought the product but I heard that this can cause drying. After I use the toner should I use some moisturizer afterwards? Also has anyone tried this product? Does it work?Neutrogena pore refining toner?
Yep, bought that and tried it. It didn't work to shrink or ';refine'; the pores on my T-zone. Instead, it made my skin tight and dry. I still had blackheads and whiteheads, the pores still look the same size. It was a waste of $. Then I researched some dermatology textbooks (the medical school level kind) and this is my discovery:

    1. Regardless of what the package label claims, there is no product available on the planet that can ';shrink pores,'; as pore size is strictly genetic predisposition.

    2. What makes those pores appear bigger are the blackheads and whiteheads, the trapped oil inside the pores.

    3. Therefore, what you should target is keeping those pores as clear as possible. This is the ONLY way to make them ';appear'; smaller.

    CHANGE YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE

    1. Get a gentle facial cleanser that is capable of removing EVERYTHING without drying your skin, such as Neutrogena's Gentle Cleanser ($5.94 per bottle) or One Step Gentle Cleanser (1 step in removing eye and face makeup), both of these are alcohol free, with enough emollients to retain your skin moisture. Walmart now carries the One Step Gentle Cleanser ($6.23 per bottle), too, but they place it in the Neutrogena's Makeup section, next to the eye makeup remover. Target prices are slightly cheaper than Walmart, with the One-Step to be available for less than $6.

    2. SKIP the toner, as an effective facial cleanser should be able to remove everything in one wash. The extra step of using a toner actually does nothing more than wasting your money.

    3. EXFOLIATE with BHA (namely Beta Hydroxy Acid or Salicylic Acid) your face 2-3 times a week for acne prone skin, as BHA is capable of sloughing off dead skin cells inside the pores. AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Glycolic Acid, or Lactic Acid, just to name a few) works better for sun-damaged skin. BHA is effective in concentration between 1%-2%, with a pH balance of 3. AHA works best in 5%-8% concentration, with a pH balance of 3 to 4. Any higher % and/or lower pH balance number decreases the effectiveness of both AHA and BHA. These chemical exfoliants work better than manual ';scrubs'; because those scrubs don't exfoliate as deep. The cheapest, most effective exfoliants I have used are Paula's Choice (available at www.cosmeticscop.com).

    4. Give yourself a facial once a week. Steam your face under a towel for 10-15 minutes to open up all those pores, and most of your blackheads and whiteheads should surface. Then use a clay mask to squeeze those pores a bit more.

    5. Follow with Biore Strips. After the pores are all opened, they work to pull everything out. Afterwards, your pores will feel soooo clean and opened (empty holes) that your skin feels ticklish. It's a refreshing feeling.

    6. Throughout the week, use a topical disinfectant cream, either 5% or 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (brand name Clearasil, but Persa Gel and Walmart's generic Equate brands are much cheaper) on your T-zone. Apply 1-2 times a day; any more than that, it will be too harsh on your skin. If your skin is as sensitive as mine, just use it once a day. This will help lower the occurence of large-looking pores.

    7. With moisturizers, use it sparingly. Don't overdo it, especially on the T-zone, or else it will trap the oils even more. Besides, if you keep up with the exfoliation, you should not need much moisturizing anyway, because the cleared out pores will absorb the moisturizers more effectively.Neutrogena pore refining toner?
some people (and dermo's) swear by toners but a lot of dermotologist suggest that all you really need is a good cleanser and moisturizer because toners take out all the excess oil while cleansers have the perfect balance of oil so that when it removes it, it can also return some without making skin oily, or dry. I'd just stick with the cleansers to eliminate risk of having flaky skin

Has anyone ever used the neutrogena microderm kit?

Did you see results??Has anyone ever used the neutrogena microderm kit?
I dunno about neutrogena, but I don't think microderm kits work that well.. you might see a little bit of results but it all depends on your skin type.

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Spot Eliminating Gel?

when it says spot eliminating, well, is this product meant to get rid of acne? (i have mild acne, little pimples on my cheeks and forehead, and a little bit of blackheads on my nose)

and if you've used this product does it work?Neutrogena Rapid Clear Spot Eliminating Gel?
i've used it and it is effective.. to a point. i dont think it would be appropriate for acne, jst like one pimple at a time. it wasnt doing the trick for me though, so i ended up going to the doctor and got some prescription cream for acne, and my face feels sooo clean and fresh. i have like clear skin now. you can try the neutrogena stuf if you like, but if it doesnt work for you jst go to the doc and get some stuf that will be better suited to your particular needs =)

Im thinking of buying the neutrogena wave is it any good or a waste of money?

No, it really doesn't work. It dried out my face really badly and it caused me to break out even more. Even though I gently scrubbed my face with the wave, it was still way too rough and it caused the existing zits on my face to pop, spreading blood and pus all over my face, thus causing more acne.Im thinking of buying the neutrogena wave is it any good or a waste of money?
First - What skin type do you have?

Dry Skin types need less washing, while oilier ones should be washed more often.

Second - Is money an issue?

If you buy a wave you will have to pay for refills and new pads. This will add up and be a bit expensive over time.

However if the price doesn麓t bother you the wave is a great product that will leave you skin soft and smooth. It is a fast and easy way to clean your face. Just remember if you have dry skin, over washing will cause dryness. Plus if you can麓t afford it, the wave is just an improvement on something you can already do with warm water, soap and a cloth - the wave simply adds convenience to the age old face washing routine.Im thinking of buying the neutrogena wave is it any good or a waste of money?
It is great for around the first 2 weeks, but after the 3rd week I used it, my skin got VERY dry. It has been the first week (this week) that I stopped using it. I would suggest something like the St. Ives products. They are affective and very good for your skin, as they use natural ingredients. Also, if you are concerned with acne, ask your doctor about ';Differin';. It is working for me. :D
I think it's pretty useful. And you can carry it around with you, since it's tiny.

And it helps quite a bit, cus it won't dry your face out alot.
I have one, and i love it.

however, the pad refills are kind of expensive.
    From experience...Its a waste.
it makes your skin really dry.

hey no not buy for waste that suck

I bought the Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel last year to eliminate my acne scars. I didn't notice much of a difference, except it made my skin really soft. A few large scars faded, but it doesn't do much for the small, repeating scars.

    Night or in the morning?

    Please answer my question. :)

    How do you use neutrogena?
Twice a day, once in the morning one in the evening. stay out of sunlight as much as possible and if you go outside, use a sunscreen. and it should be used daily. How do you use neutrogena?
I don't have the wave but I'm very sure you can use it once it the morning and once at night. Look on the back of the box. It should have directions.
3-4 times a week. doesnt really matter if its in the morning or not. i choose night because thats when i take my showers. and i use it just once a day on the days i use it.
on the box it says twice a day, but i only use it once. but make sure u use it at least once a day or then it makes ur skin dry. well that is what happened to me
everyday..twice a day. morning and before you go to the bed.

Has anyone tried Loreal, Neutrogena, or Almay mineral foundation? If so was it good or bad?

I tried Neutrogena, and it isn't bad. Use the pressed mineral, though. The brush on doesn't do as well.Has anyone tried Loreal, Neutrogena, or Almay mineral foundation? If so was it good or bad?
I have tryed all of them. I tryed the new mineral foundation from Lorel, the mineral foundation in a tube from Neutragreana, and the ';smart make up'; from Almay (its a liquid not mineral) and to be honest they all sucked. I have bad acne though so our skin might be different.

    Lorel-

The brush/applicator hurt and irritated my skin. It was also ';cakey'; looking

    2/5

    Neutragena-

Did not cover my skin well enough. When i used it the mineral dust got every wear and would smear on my clothes

    2/5

    Almay-

Hard to apply and looked ';greasy';. It smeared very easily on my clothes and wouldnt come off, even after washing my shirts.

The best foundation i have ever bought (and use today) is Cover Girl Clean. It comes in a green compact and is about $4. Its amazingHas anyone tried Loreal, Neutrogena, or Almay mineral foundation? If so was it good or bad?
A must try mineral foundation would have to be Maybelline's new line of Maybelline Mineral Power. It's stunning. It lasts until you wash it off, and it goes on without looking cakey. It leaves your skin looking flawless, much like the pricier products such as Bare Minerals.
Yes, I do and has been using it for three years. My daughter Alex who was 18 introduced me to the make-up and it has helped a lot to cover my whole face with natural look. My friends tell me there's a change in me. I am 53 --when others think I am only 38 or 40.

Also, there is make up I use before the mineral foundation. I use a concealer on a couple of dark spots, a Maybelline matte mousse, then I just cover it w/ the mineral makeup. I am sure we have different skin-I have normal to oily skin --if you have any questions, or pimples flare up --it can be avoided. Make sure you wash your face clean with a creme cleanser and always wash with cool water and a soft washcloth before you go to bed. It's a must. Do not use an alcohol toner every after wash (very harsh to the skin)--although alcohol maybe used once in a while to kill the germ when you open up a flred pimple. Like I told my daughters, it doesn't matter what makeup you use --it's how you use it on your clean face.
Neutrogena and Loreal has been known to kill harmfull bacteria on the face but about 1 out of 344 people who have used them got much worse skin rashes and burns so be very carefull when trying these products
neutrogena and almay are good for your skin because most are noncomedogenic [look on the fact label on the back]
no they are horrible thats why they are of the few leading brands
    idk gul i dnt knw
